On October 11 Knowncold.com opened and Known Cold Records started looking for new artists. What started as a net-label project quickly became a label ready to distribute CD's and merchandise. At Known Cold records or KCR for short; started a web magazine to serve the Dubstep Collective with 13 ongoing series of topics ranging from studio production to venue and nightclub reviews.
Included in KCR’s growing list of articles and features is the monthly podcast giveaway 'Known Cold Sessions' and 'Beat Soldiers' a collection of samples for beat mechanics presented every month the 'freebies' page. Known Cold aims to giveaway tons of music, one free single with each release and as well a special mix with each EP or single. All of the proceeds of t-shirts will go directly to helping KCR artists tour the world and spread the message. Known Cold is here!

One of the first artist that KCR found was Aeon also known as Robert G. Aeon blew has terrific production skills. His tech house style is fresh and without the over played wobble. (Not to say we don't like wobble, because we most certainly do!) Aeon's basslines are of the deep sub variety, big throbbing and in some cases downright rude Speaker rumbling crushers:) What struck us most about his debut was how coherent it was. All of his tracks work well together making a truly unique musical expression. Musically the under lying melodies on the Blury Mind EP are pure genius with emotional synth workouts with a house influenced groove*.
